英文詩歌習作: Sonnet 1

I keep the best memory long of you,
Images from past are now still fresh and clear,
What you look like right now I do not view,
There is no reason even for me visit there.
The old wise-man taught us to be good friends,
Remain distance even in a small town;
Confucius said that you can not attend,
If places and countries are clearly breaking down.
How can you please someone when you abused,
Even worse he has never been some regretful;
But I pre-fer not to be any confused,
I forgive the bad, meanwhile be forget-ful.
Yea, things better out of sight are out  of mind
I think that is my way of being kind.
 

後記：第一次學著寫了個 Sonnet，中譯為十四行詩，甚至“商籟詩”。這次，我感覺象是第一次寫成中文的格律詩。Sonnet 的每行就是以五對音節為基礎，所謂“Iambic  pentameter”，penta，希臘文“五”。所以此乃西文的五言律詩而已。模仿寫 Sonnet 的簡單辦法是學沙士比亞的150多篇作品，其中 Sonnet 18 英文母語國家中學生的必讀。本人習作也是以此為範本。

對 Sonnet 的寫法其實還不甚了了，這裏雖然每行排出了2X5 個音節，但對輕重音的安排還不很清楚。大概是寫出了五言，但其中的平仄更要講究。文學城似乎有研究沙士比亞 Sonnet 的專門人才，望指教。在下雖然是 walk the walk, 或 walk the talk ，很少 talk the walk，但對 talk the talk 是願意洗耳恭聽的。

大概三十年前，上過沙士比亞 Sonnet 的課程。當時，大家對此毫無興趣，期末考試糊弄過關。老教授(女老師)一輩子的心血，都成了我們的兒戲。沒想到三十年後，本人卻學寫了一篇，一篇遲交的答卷；也算是報答她為師的辛苦。

詩歌還是內容重要，文字技巧次之。就本人的英文水平，和並不生活在英文為官方語言的環境下的現實，現在寫英文詩歌，還隻能是個學習的過程。請網友理解。
