親戚在國內，乳腺癌，手術切除，現在做完第一期化療。我想請教一下：
1。有沒有什麽好的藥物可以預防或減少惡心，嘔吐？
2。如何盡量提高白細胞？打升白針會有副作用嗎？
3。放化療期間，能吃蛋白粉，花旗參，靈芝之類的保健品嗎？網上有人說會促進癌細胞增長，請提供些建議，多謝.

1. many anti-nausea meds, such as zofran, kytril, emend, aloxi. all are expensive. the most commonly used is probably still zofran which is cheaper, even better now that it is sold over-the-counter, you can probably buy it without prescription. Emend and Aloxi are newer and more powerful.

2. for white counts, G-CSF (neupogen, filgrastim) and GM-CSF (sargramostim), both need prescription and very expensive.

3. Other stuff would not work.
