Planting Stones I am guilty of uprooting you from the bottom of forest at water's edge where I grew enamored with time's shape & the raw smoothness of soul's endurance for hours I immersed myself within a single body of the time-worn, water-kissed stone, so beautifully darkened by the eternal song in low light my excuse was the love I felt for you and the flowing light over your entire being I could not part and I knew if I sat long enough by your side I'd hear more tales from your soundless telling and the weighing in is what I lack in finding my bearing to sing the old truth ::summer '05 art: Andy Goldsworthy
