[i get to learn a little about Jung when i read his introduction on a newer version of I Ching, or Yi Jing. he seems to have something to say about the inexplicable phenonmenon in Chinese thoughts. he does not just dwell on the "mind," but heart. can wisdom come from the heart? well, maybe we'll never have all the satisfatory answers to everything.... Z.Z.] ******************************************* As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.... ******************************************* Where love rules, there is no will to power, and where power predominates, love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other.... ******************************************* The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.... ******************************************* The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity.
