1. Apparently Jacob had the LORD with him. I am amazed by the reaction of his wives when he decided to go back to his native land. They were with him! My very personal opinion here: Jacob had an excellent testimony before his wives.
2. I am really impressed by how Jesus sent out 12 disciples. It was so different than today's churches, whose number one purpose was to get more people, even begging people to accept salvation. It is so wrong.
3. Love this verse: "And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times."
4. Yes, God's words are better than gold, silver, rubies.
