Polish Poem with David Lynch "Polish Poem", written by David Lynch and Chrysta Bell; sung by Chrysta Bell for opening scenes of Lynch's Inland Empire. I am uncertain as to the origin of the accompanying video. It is described as a " Whoracle clip" - Whoracle, I assume, in reference to the Swedish band by that name whose music is described as "melodic death metal".
Polish Poem
i sing this poem to you on the other side i sing
shining winds blow?? its far away far away from me i can see it there i can see it there the wind blows outside and i have no breath i breathe again and know i’ll have to live to forget my world is ending i'll have to love i hear my hearbeat fluttering in pain to sense something tears are coming to my eyes i cry i cry i can not feel the warmth of the sun i can not hear the laughter choking with every thought i see your faces my hands are tired as i reach but no one comes no one comes where are you where are you what will make me want to live what will make me want to love tell me tell me i sing this poem to you to you is this mystery unfolding as a wind floating something is coming true a dream of an innocent child something is happening something is happening.
