也喜歡野營.每年要去5-6次,是我家十幾年來的老傳統了.北美,歐洲,澳州都'野營'過.風味很不一樣.
兒子們很喜歡野營,正好不用洗澡,還可以抓"bananaslugs'.女兒卻不肯去.嫌有'bugs'.
記得當年倆人世界時是一頂雙人帳篷,backpacking時輕而易舉就背上走了.後來孩子們加進來,帳篷越來越大,現在成了內有三間'房'的龐然大屋了.

2005年六月份到優山美地去“dayhike”時照的。早上8點從舊金山出發，11點到。爬了“mistytrail”uptoVernalFall。（約兩小時）如果要去HalfDome，到這裏走了一半。2點下山，3點半就到停車場了。開到家正好吃晚飯。

地震時俺在MAUI度假。早上7：07俺還在床上呢，穿著睡衣就跑出來了。聽電台說沒有海嘯，因停電早飯就到海灘上去BBQ了。MUAI比Honolulu好，雖然離大島（震源）更近，隻停電兩小時。本來那天準備到樓前的海灘snorkeling,可風大浪高，沒去。就帶著小的們泡遊泳池了。
