Day 1: LA to Yosemite.
Day 2: Yosemite East entrance, Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Yosemite South entrance, to Sequoia.
Day 3: Sequoia North entrance, Sequoia, Sequoia South entrance, to LA.

You may skip the Mariposa Grove in Yosemite since there are many much bigger trees in Sequoia. Try to stay inside Sequoia since you do not have much time for it.
