Good post(s).. visited Syria before.. in addition to the places mentioned here, covered also Homs, Hama, Apamea, Qalat Salahdin, and Aleppo.. in particular, Qalat Salahdin (about 160km taxi from Hama) was even more impressive than Castle Chavalier.. The kids there were among the most friendly and well mannered out of about 100 countries i have been to.. May peace be with them soon.
