Fordham University – The Beginning of College (1964 – 1966) Now, eighteen years old, Donald Trump began attending classes at Fordham University in the Bronx. Fordham is a Jesuit Catholic university founded in 1841.
The Wharton School of Business – University of Pennsylvania (1966 – 1968) Referring to his transfer to the University of Pennsylvania in his book “The Art of the Deal,” Trump wrote, “”I decided that as long as I had to be in college, I might as well test myself against the best.” The University of Pennsylvania was established in 1740 in Philadelphia, PA and is one of the eight Ivy League schools. It’s currently #9 on the U.S. News & World Report National Universities Rankings and is a perennial top 10 institution. In contrast to Mr. Trump’s silence about his time at Fordham University, he’s been much more vocal about his attendance at the Wharton School of Business, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
