when dh was signed, asik was furious and demanded a trade immediately. the twin-tower was basically to appease him. unfortunately, it's now clear asik is replaceable. lin is not in competition with beverley, because he didn't lose starter job due to poor performance in the first place. he only got to shine because of team injuries and bev needing help with offense. i think lin is showcasing his value for the next contract, which is exactly what he should be doing. beverley is doing somthing similar. neither of them may stay in the rockets for long.
