Manchester United have agreed a six-month deal with Ralf Rangnick to take over as interim manager until the end of the season after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking, The Athletic reports and CBS Sports insider Fabrizio Romano confirms
The German will leave his role as head of sports and development with Lokomotiv Moscow to move to Old Trafford with the deal subject to the Russian outfit agreeing to release him from his current contract.
According to co-authors David Ornstein and Laurie Whitwell, United do not anticipate any issues on this front and Rangnick will fill the managerial post for six months before two further years in a consultancy role. (CBS Sports)
