8 老師你好。 The denial reason was under 214(b) but they could not figure out the exactly reason.
We reviewed all DS160 applications for her and her father. There were multiple errors in B2 applications:
There were 2 errors in DS160 for my niece’s B2:
One error was for “Have you travelled to any countries/regions within the last five years?”
中介填 了NO but she did go to UK , Australia and Japan.
In DS160 for her F1 applications, she corrected it but was not sure about the impact.
The other mistake is for “Person /Entity paying for your trip:” 中介填 了 SELF but it should be her parents.
There was one mistake in DS160 for her father’s B2: Income should be 80,000 instead of 8000 RMB per month.
She is planning to reapply for the 3rd time for F1 but how can she let the VO know that they made those mistakes before in B2 applications? The F1 interviews took only 3 mins, she did not get the chance to explain those and the VO was not even asking for the documents she prepared. Is it a good idea to write a cover letter to explain those? 多謝！
